We have accomplished a lot this week! Fourth graders began taking the MAP test while fifth graders continued M-Stepping. I was out for a few days and the kids did a great job while I was away! This week, we did some more activities about using our Social Filter. We practiced keeping some thoughts in our thought bubbles and the fifth graders even practiced turning bubble thoughts into more appropriate comments and compliments. The children started on a Mother's Day project and did an Earth Day Fact and Opinion sort. We also enjoyed unwinding and practicing our social skills with a game day. We will be starting our Circles curriculum soon. Circles is a program that helps children understand healthy boundaries and relationships with others in their lives. Stay tuned!
Joke of the Week:
"What is kind of animal makes the best pet?
A cat because they're purr-fect!"
Have a super weekend!
