We have had a great week! On Monday, I pulled out a new game that I found over the summer. It's called Conversation Go Round. Each child takes turns choosing cards and answering questions. Then, the other children have to ask questions or comment on the answer. This was really challenging, but I think we're starting to get the hang of it. We'll keep playing to improve our reciprocal conversation skills. On Tuesday, we read a familiar book called How To Lose All Your Friends. This book highlights appropriate social choices and inappropriate social choices. From there, we discussed the graphic above--about choices and consequences, both good and bad. The kids did really well with these conversations and we'll continue to build on them throughout the year. Thursday is game day this week-I love watching their social interactions during this time! Remember, there's no school on Friday. We will be professionally developing! Have a great, long weekend!
