We had another busy week! This week, we spent some time writing letters to Santa, making "thank you cards" for our chromebooks and the fence that was put up on our playground, and making some crafts.
The first craft we made was decoupaging tissue paper onto wax paper. Then, I cut them out to make these beautiful ornaments that are adorning our doors and ceiling. We also made these Wants and Needs projects, complete with textured paint! It was interesting to hear what the children thought was "necessary" to live! My older kids had some nice discussions about different cultures and what needs look like in different places. We also had a short chat about air pollution with my third grade group! Such smart kids! :)
We ended the week with a special craft that you will learn about next week. Let's just say, my room is super messy and the kids had fun--so great success! Have an excellent weekend!
We did not have a joke or vocab word this week due to crafts and report cards.
Please note that report cards will be available to view online soon! Also, IEP goal updates are coming home today. KEEP what is in the envelope, sign and return the envelope please. Thanks!
