Happy Friday! It's been a busy week! Here's what we've accomplished...
February is kindness month, so we kicked off the week talking about kindness, what it is and why it's important. We also enjoyed a game day with Mrs. Szalay this week where students had the opportunity to show kindness (and good sportsmanship) to their friends. My 2nd and 3rd grade groups read a book about being a good friend as well. On Friday, we started a cool Valentine's Day project with dot painting. These will be ready to be revealed next week and will make a great addition to our decor for February. The joke this week was:
"What did the cat say to his Valentine?
You're purrrfect!"
The word of the week was "outraged". The kids wrote this under "mad" in their Social Skills Notebooks.
Have a super weekend and remember to be kind!
