"Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Ash.
Ash who?
Bless you!"
This week's emotional vocabulary word was: worried. The children wrote this on their scared page.
Have a wonderful weekend! And stay healthy! There's a lot of germs going around!

Happy Friday! We had a great week! We spent a lot of time working on the 5 point scale you see in the picture. We have really been breaking down what each level looks like and feels like and discussing what you should do when you find yourself at each level. Some groups finished and some have not, so expect these to trickle home in the next few days. Students are also bringing home their personalized 5 point scales that have their photos. We are keeping a copy for school, but these will be a good tool at home as well! This week, we also read a book called Moody Cow Meditates which shows the main character rising up through the levels and becoming so upset that he needs help calming down. Students did a nice job working through scenarios that make them feel upset and brainstorming ways to calm down. This week, our joke was a knock knock joke!
