This week on Monday, the kids practiced more with their personal information including a parent cell/home phone number and address. We also began the Circles Program. The first step in the Circles program is to make sure you keep yourself safe, which includes knowing your personal info! The Circles program is a curriculum that addresses personal relationships and safe boundaries. We will spend a lot of time on this because it is so important for our kids to know to keep themselves safe as they age and form new relationships. We began coloring the circles that we are eventually turning into a flip book. The picture at the top of this blog shows an example. All grade levels began listing various people within each circle and started to color their flip books. As we work on this unit, Ann and I will share more of the concepts that go along with it. Have a wonderful weekend!
