With some changes we were not expecting this past week, Mrs. Reece was placed on immediate bed rest. After some time being monitored her doctors decided the baby would be a March baby! On March 10th, Bennett Reece was born at 4.5 lbs and 18 inches long. He is just precious! Mom and baby are recovering well.
This week we continued to work on our thought and speech bubbles. The kids sorted phrases under speech and thought bubbles and some started our next sort which will be making brain and mouth pockets and placing phrases in each respective pocket. Some phrases are easier than others.
I met with the recess buddies during our job time on Wednesday and they have begun to decorate posters for the Blue Out. The 4th/5th graders planned a skit to do at Community Time in March to advertise for the Blue Out. They are really excited. The Blue Out will be on 4/12.
MAP testing will begin soon. Please help you child prepare by having a good sleep schedule and breakfast each morning. Thanks!
Make it a great week!
