I earned my Bachelors of Arts from Grand Valley State University in English language Arts and Elementary Education. I earned my Masters of Arts and Teaching from Madonna University in Autism Spectrum Disorders and have spent my entire teaching career working with individuals with autism between the ages of 7 and 26.
I live with my husband Ryan who is a resident emergency room physician in Lansing and my two rescued cats, Zazzles and Oliver. We have a small business that we use to help promote autism awareness and to raise funds for local programs that educate children with autism. I enjoy music, reading, sunshine, making candles and crafting.
