The last two weeks will be a combined blog post as we did a lot of reviewing from our year being social detectives. We went on a scavenger hunt around the building to look for things we have covered throughout the year. That was really fun! The newest concept taught has to do with introducing two new social vocabulary words: rigid and flexible. We talked about how being rigid meant handling changes with a bad mood and challenging, unexpected behaviors. Being flexible is about trying to handle changes calmly. This will continue next year, but I wanted to introduce the concepts as we are experiencing a huge volume of changes right now! The kids were nervous to break the Popsicle sticks, but it was cute.
