We have had an unusual week--Ms. McQuillan was called away unexpectedly for a personal issue, and in her absence, we've been chugging along! The children enjoyed a performance by the wonderful S.O.U.L group this week. These Singers Of United Lands put on a great show featuring acapella music from Norway, Albania, Malasia and Kenya. This week, we also enjoyed a game day where we practiced taking turns. We also read a book called It's Okay to Be Different and spent some time talking about ways that people are different. Toward the end of the week, we made these beautiful dot paintings. We had a great time taking the letters off and seeing that LOVE was spelled in the negative space. These projects will spruce up our space for Valentine's Day! Cameron's is featured this week!
Have a wonderful weekend!
