This week, we hopped around finishing up different things. The big kids finished talking about Wasfunnyonce--the Unthinkable that makes us feel silly at inappropriate times. He's not as creepy as his picture and the kids all had great examples of when they have been influenced by this Unthinkable. We all worked on a Peaceful, Not Peaceful sort that was left over from our work on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It's so important that kids learn the power that their words have and I love the example I can share with them of a historical leader that used them so powerfully to create change. The younger kids talked about sharing and different ways to engage others in play. All of the children enjoyed a game day this week too.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
