Good Morning, Camp Ohiyesa!
Morgan and Harrison enjoy lunch at camp!
It's been a busy, busy, busy week! 3rd-5th graders are working through their standardized state assessments and the 5th graders and I spent 3 lovely days at Camp Ohiyesa! It was a blast! And now I'm dirty, dusty, stinky and tired! But it's all worth it for the experiences they get to have and the quality time I get to spend with them! I think they will sleep well this weekend!
We spent some time this week reviewing the book All My Stripes about a zebra named Zane who has autism (see last week's blog for more). The kids drew stripes on their zebras about all of the things that make them special and unique. The kids also spent some time this week working on a Mother's Day project and playing games with Mrs. Szalay. We had a really nice week!
The joke this week was: "What kind of shorts do clouds wear?
Thunderpants!"
Have a great weekend and to all of the moms, Happy Mother's Day!
Also, thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Teacher Appreciation day/week and for your kind remarks! It truly makes a difference!
